Now celebrating its 9th year, AutMus Fest is one of the largest music festivals along the US-Mexico Border drawing over 10,000 attendees. Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX serves as an inspirational backdrop to celebrate the diversity and culture of our region and nation.

What about event seating?
Entry to the event is general admission. Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Personal chairs and blankets are welcome!!!!
Is there an admission fee?
As a non-profit organization, the TAMIU Alumni Association donates event proceeds to benefit student scholarships. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and higher at the gate. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult receive free admission.
Where should I park?
Free campus parking is available throughout campus grounds.
Where do I purchase tickets?
May I bring any pets?
Pets will NOT be allowed entrance into AutMus Fest. Only service animals will be permitted.
When you have fun and drink beer,
it comes with great responsibility...
so don't forget to bring your valid Texas ID
to AutMus Fest on Saturday, because 21 means 21!

Concessionaires, Exhibitors, Vendors and Crafters are invited to fill out an application to participate in the event. Once the committee has reviewed applications, contracts will be sent out to selected participants. We do limit the vending of similar items, so submit your application quickly.

Set-Up is on Saturday, October 5th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Gates open at 4:30 PM.
Regular fees are $250 due by August 31, 2013. Late fees are $300 after the deadline.
The TAMIU Alumni Association is providing space for (1) One 10x10 covered booth and access to electricity, if indicated on Vendor Application.
Become a volunteer today! While AutMus is a great place to let loose and hang out with friends, the Alumni Association’s mission is to raise money for TAMIU Student Scholarships and to give back. Over 200 alumni, students, staff and supporters help this event annually. Without individual help like yours, we wouldn't have made it to our 9th year. So thank you for giving to your community!
Volunteers must be 18 years or older and will receive no monetary compensation for their services.

How do I apply to volunteer?
Save a tree, and fill out the volunteer application. Links are located above.
When and how long are the shifts?
Each shift is 4 hours. However, volunteers are encouraged to sign up for as many shifts as possible. All volunteers must arrive 15 minutes before their shift to check-in, receive a t-shirt, sign a waiver and meet the team's lead.
Where does AutMus most need help?
Every job is as equally important as the next. However, the most assistance is needed during the evening shifts, especially after 10PM. Also, folks over 25 are encouraged to assist later in the evening to help with beer tokens, sales and the ID Check.
What happens after I apply?
By September 27th, you will receive an email with your shift assignment, the time and the location of the volunteer meeting. You will also receive notice of where the volunteer entrance and headquarters are.
On the day of the event, where do I report to?
Parking is available at the campus’ lots. Please use the volunteer entrance. The location will be emailed to you along with your admission ticket.
What are the perks?
After your shift you’ll receive free entry into the hottest festival in the region. Enjoy the music, food and the vibe! You'll also receive a volunteer event T-Shirt. If you would like to receive certification of your service, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your community service form.
TAMIU Students and Staff:
By participating in the AutMus Volunteer program, you will receive your assignment through our program. If you are helping to staff a TAMIU student booth that is fundraising, you are volunteering to assist the particular group. Please do not apply to this program if you are helping with student organization fundraising.
I'm trying to apply and the application is not live, what do I do?
If you receive notice that the application is not live, then the volunteer list for AutMus Fest is full and no more applications are being taken.
The TAMIU Alumni Association founded AutMus Fest to help break the financial barriers that prevent our youth from earning a college degree. Approximately 80% of the students are economically disadvantaged. And still today, the event is driven by a volunteer group of alumni, students, staff and friends confirming that AutMus is a viable means of achieving the event's objectives.
Yet, the impact of your support goes further than fulfilling a dream: The University's direct economic impact on the City with student, employee, and visitor spending multiplied with operations, maintenance and construction is $71.6 million and supports 1,333 jobs in the Laredo/Webb County area.
In addition to scholarship opportunities for students, a corporate investment in AutMus also has long term benefits. As Hispanics make up the largest population on campus and also constitute the fastest growing community, they hold an equally impressive purchasing power with a product and corporate loyalty desired by both emerging and established companies.
